Salute on the 4th!

Section 594 of the National Defense Authorization Act, signed into law as Public Law 110-181 on January 28, 2008,allows veterans out of uniform to salute the flag in military fashion. The text is below. Title III(Sec. 594) Allows members and veterans who are present but not in uniform during the hoisting, lowering, or passing of the flag to render the military salute.
