There is serious concern that dogs in Morocco are being brutally killed as the country prepares for the upcoming World Cup. According to animal welfare organizations, dogs are being slaughtered in the streets to "clean up" the areas for the forthcoming World Cup events. (Source: Animal Welfare Reports)

This practice is a blatant violation of animal rights and disregards the important role dogs play in many societies and cultures. The World Cup should be a time to bring the world together, not to destroy innocent lives.

We urge the World Cup organizing committees, the Moroccan government, and the international community to put an end to this and instead promote humane solutions for controlling the dog population, such as sterilization and adoption.

Please sign this petition to protest the cruel killing of dogs in Morocco and call on World Cup organizers to ensure this does not happen. Every signature matters.

Es besteht ernste Besorgnis darüber, dass Hunde in Marokko brutal getötet werden, weil das Land sich auf die bevorstehende Weltmeisterschaft vorbereitet. Dieses Vorgehen ist eine eklatante Verletzung des Tierschutzes und ignoriert die wichtige Rolle, die Hunde in vielen Gesellschaften und Kulturen spielen. Die Weltmeisterschaft sollte eine Zeit sein, um die Welt zusammenzubringen, nicht um unschuldige Leben zu vernichten. Wir rufen die WM-Organisationskomitees, die marokkanische Regierung und die internationale Gemeinschaft auf, dies zu stoppen und stattdessen humane Lösungen zur Kontrolle der Hundepopulation zu fördern, wie z.B. Sterilisation und Adoption.
