VIOLENT KILLER HENRY HAMMOND URGENT DEVELOPMENT 

1. It has been confirmed Henry Hammond who brutally killed Courtney Herron in May 2019 has been granted “escorted” day release.
2. He has been seen lunching at places known to have been Courtney’s favorite restaurants where she enjoyed meals with her father John.
3. Less than 3 yrs ago Henry Hammond was deemed to be suffering “mental Impairment “ & therefore unfit to stand trial. Schizophrenia was “diagnosed” too.
   
4. Henry Hammond’s remarkably rapid mental health recovery given how “mentally impaired “ he was at the time of   his trial is not however comparable with those in the general community who also suffer from schizophrenia?
5. If Henry Hammond is “cured”from his “mental impairment “ & schizophrenia, given he is a dangerous killer & significant threat to public safety he must be sent back to prison to serve out the remainder of his sentence. By letting him out into the community & granting him freedom, given his brutally violent history he will without hesitation kill another innocent human being. This must be prevented & treated with the utmost urgency. Henry Hammond’s privileges added to his treatment at the Thomas Embling Hospital are not conducive to maintaining public safety & the general public’s right to feel safe in the community must remain prioritised over a brutally violent criminals’ rights to freedom. 
     
   If you kill a person you are a criminal & need to be held accountable. Mental illness is never an excuse to brutally murder an innocent young woman like Courtney Herron�
   
   Henry Hammond claimed “mental impairment “, yet is now miraculously cured from the serious mental illness that deemed him unfit to stand trial for murder. 
   This will be one of the most repugnantly dangerous travesties of justice if Henry Hammond is to be again released back into the community, given he is a precariously significant risk to public safety. 

PLEASE URGENTLY SIGN THIS PETITION. HENRY HAMMOND HAS ALREADY BEEN GRANTED “ESCORTED DAY RELEASE”  

HE MUST NEVER BE ALLOWED NOR PERMITTED TO BE FREED BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY AS HE WILL KILL AGAIN. WE CALL ON THE VICTORIAN PREMIER JACINTA ALLAN, SENATOR KATY GALLAGHER & OUR PRIME MINISTER ANTHONY ALBANESE TO URGENTLY INTERVENE TO ENSURE WOMEN IN VICTORIA WHERE HENRY HAMMOND WOULD BE RELEASED ARE PROTECTED AND SAFE. IT IS OUR BASIC HUMAN RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE & HENRY HAMMOND MUST NEVER BE RELEASED DUE TO HIS LONG HISTORY OF BRUTALITY, VIOLENT CRIME, MURDER, & THE ABSENCE OF ANY REMORSE FOR HIS RECIVIDISM.
