So far, we have more than 74,000 signatures and I need your help to reach the goal of 80,000 signatures before Friday. The work you have all done so far in helping to spread our message has been nothing short of amazing and because of you this story continues to remain in the news. As long as people are continuing to talk about this campaign, there is hope for Kijiji, the leader in online classifieds sales in Canada, to set an example and ban pet sales on its website.
A lot has happened since the petition was launched: We got the support of the Winnipeg Humane Society, the Montreal SPCA, the SPCA Saguenay, the BC SPCA and the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies, a national organization representing 46 humane societies and SPCAs in Canada; we got the Royal Bank of Canada, the National Bank of Canada, Tangerine Bank, Toyota Canada, and the shopping website zulily to stop advertising on Kijiji’s pet sale pages; and Kijiji changed its pet listing policy by charging $4.99 per dog ad and by removing their “free to a good home” listings. Please help me reach our target of 80,000 signatures by emailing your friends, family and colleagues and asking them to sign the petition.

It's been a long campaign. Thank you for staying with me. We've made progress and I know we can win this for the animals.
