This year has been one of growth, collaboration, and meaningful change. As I look back on all we’ve achieved, I am reminded of the power of community. YOU are part of this.

Thanks to your support, I was able to engage with Nestlé Purina, the owner of Petfinder, to successfully advocate for their searchable database of adoptable pets from Canadian shelters to be made available in both English and French. I was also able to directly talk with Visa and Mastercard to push for stronger protections for animals and consumers on classified sites, even though those efforts ultimately fell short. Your support has paved the way for me to connect with the office of the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, to explore further opportunities for change.

Together, we’ve worked to make a tangible difference in the lives of animals and the people who care for them. Have a wonderful rest of 2024!
