Mortimer Terrace Nature reserve has been a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation for over 30 years. It has been lovingly tended by community volunteers on a weekly basis since 1987 and is home to a wide variety of wildlife including woodpeckers, owls, hedgehogs, foxes and frogs. More than 50 children a week visit from local pimary and forest schools to learn about the wildlife and to run free in a safe and secluded space.

The canopy of mature trees and the abundance of greenery protect the local residents from the noise and air pollution of the nearby roads and  railway track.

Now the landowners want to sell the site for the developent of luxury flats.

Please support our fight to keep the land as a nature reserve.
