We ALL know that our planet is drowing in plastic.  We've all seen the videos of the marine life killed by plastic pollution.  Plastic straws are particularly unnecessary, when paper provides a perfectly good alternative, as do reusable straws or just drinking straight from the can or cup.  Some fast food chains are already beginning to commit to transitioning to paper straws in the future.

Can you believe that KFC not only have plastic straws, but they also individually wrap them in plastic packaging?!  Please ask KFC to change this practice ASAP.  And, of course, in the meantime, if you are buying a KFC drink, leave the straw in the store.  Or consider letting them know that you will be boycotting them until this madness ends.
