Visit the rescue centres in Indonesia & talk to NGO's about Palm Oil.

Kevin Rudd please visit Indonesia and look at the devastating effects of importing uncertified, unsustainable Palm Oil into Australia. We ask he visit the NGO’s that are trying to save endangered species and their habitat. There are currently no regulations regarding import of this oil which is widely used in Australian products.

These NGO’s are working tirelessly trying to save endangered species and their habitat.

Mr Hardi Baktiantoro - Founder of Centre For Orangutan Protection which strives to defend wild orangutans in Borneo forests from human brutality by way of rescue.

Dr Ian Singleton - Director of Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme which is a unique collaborative programme of NGOs and the Indonesian government fighting for the survival of the orangutan in Sumatra.

Jessica McKelson – An Australian working with Ian Singleton at SOCP. Jessica for past 10yrs has been change ambassador for Zoos Victoria with their Palm oil campaign.

Jacquline Sunderland-Groves - Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation who care for over 800 rescued orangutans--most victims of the conversion of their habitat to oil palm.

We ask you Mr Rudd to see the result of unregulated, unsustainable, uncertified Palm Oil that is being imported into Australia. As a nation we are contributing to this devastation. Brands are importing Palm Oil to use in Foods and the manufacturing of other products. Currently, brands refusing to import certified sustainable Palm Oil even though the supply chain for CSPO is available.
