PETITION AGAINST NEW DEVELOPMENT IN DUNBEG

The Issue

We, the community of Dunbeg, formally object to the 300 additional houses being built in the village of Dunbeg.

The reasons for our objections are that in 2012 ,a promise was made to the village that new infrastructure would be put in place prior to the houses being built.

This included a new access into the village, a new school, play parks and recreational areas.

Should this proposal go ahead without the relevant infrastructure in place there will be 400 homes, three large businesses and a tourist attraction being fed of one road which at present is nothing.
