The Issue
Uphold the law!
Builders need to follow the coastal zone height restrictions of 30' for residential housing.
The City of San Diego Land Use and Housing Committee Item 2 September 14, 2011 clearly states:
"Citywide Method for Calculating Zoning Height:
Measurement is taken from existing grade or proposed grade, whichever is lower
Can't manipulate grade to achieve greater height"
It is up to you to see to it that the employes in this city are doing their due diligence and adhering to laws set forth.
