In a January 10 article published in Yahoo news and other media outlets stated that the Animal Legal Defense Fund listed the state of Kentucky in 50th place, or dead last, in the United States. This is not a new honor! The report was their 11th annual such report. I live in South Carolina. We have little to brag about either. We are 41st in the country but are trying to move up. This is a stain on the character of the people who live in these two great Southern states and needs to be addressed!
