The interest in protecting the Cave Run muskie fishery has been incredible. Now approaching 1100 signatures, the momentum continues to grow everyday. When I read the comments as to why you signed, some common themes have emerged - many of you have seen the muskie fishery decline and want to take steps to correct it, you feel that a 45” limit will make Cave Run a trophy destination, and your love for Cave Run lake and the surrounding area is undeniable. As we broaden the reach of our petition, the next steps will be sharing it with media outlets, businesses, and elected officials in and around the Cave Run area. This is a grass roots movement signed by muskie anglers who want a voice in managing the resource they love, and ultimately your voice will be heard! Please continue to share and post!
