Fix the shaking floors on Noah’s Ark at Kennywood!

Fix the shaking floors on Noah’s Ark at Kennywood!

The Issue

Noah’s Ark is a award winning dark ride at Kennywood Park near Pittsburgh, PA. It has won the best dark ride award every year since being redone in 2016. This is the last Noah’s Ark dark ride left. Originally opening in 1936 and survived the devastating St. Patrick’s Day Flood. Recently, the “shaking floors” on this attraction were shut off cuz a child put his finger in it. One shakes you side to side and the other up and down. These floors are located after the last staircase you walk down into the horse area. They have been on for decades, and one of the most well known parts of the ride. You can easily put a new safety technology on it that shuts off the floor immediately if someone manages to put something in it. Its commonly found in table saws. Kennywood has listened to our feedback, first it was cheese, then it was ketchup, now this needs fixed. This may be the second easiest to fix out of all of them. Bring this classic’s known floors back. They are easy to fix compared to other parts of this attraction.
