Thank you to all of you who signed and shared this petition, you made a difference! I'd also like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who showed up to the Kennewick City Council meeting last Tuesday to speak and show your support in person! The repeal of Kennewick's breed specific restrictions means that the many wonderful pit bulls residing in Kennewick are no longer considered potentially dangerous SOLELY based on their breed and will be able to live happy, normal lives just like every other dog. We are very excited for the impact this change will have on pit bulls being redeemed by their owners from Animal Control as well as being adopted out in the city of Kennewick. At this point, Pasco is now the only city left in the Tri-Cities area with laws unfairly targeting pit bull type dogs.
