On March 10, 2019 Lorenzo  Clerkley Junior was shot by on-duty officer Kyle Holcomb of the Oklahoma City Police Department, the officer never identified himself as a police officer and shot the 14-year-old through a broken part of the fence so the child never got to see that the officer was indeed an officer. Kyle Holcomb continues to serve as an officer on the Oklahoma City police department The state of Oklahoma did not press charges against the officer. This petition will serve as a notice that we should be in control of who polices our communities, we should control how we choose to guard our children while they are away and that he isn’t going to continue to get paid with our money to shoot children.
