On Thursday this week, me [Jia] and my cousin Sohana started a petition to stop the poaching of pangolins. Pangolins are the most trafficked animal in the world. 2.7 million of these cute, harmless creatures are poached each year, often for use in chinese medicine and asian delicacies.

As well as protecting pangolins for their own sake, there is evidence that Covid-19 may have been started by a human consuming a pangolin. If we want to prevent another pandemic then we must protect wildlife from human consumption and you can help us by signing the pangolin petition.

If you can sign the petition, you will help others learn about pangolins and save their lives, as well as decreasing the chance of another wildlife related pandemic.
