Thank you all for signing and sharing the petition, it looks like we have caught the attention of Kellogg's who have requested a meeting with us! We will represent all the concerns raised and push Kellogg's to drop the worst offenders, such as Wilmar who use child labour to produce our children's breakfasts.
Less than 40% of the palm oil used by Kellogg's can be traced back to a particular plantation, which leaves them open to trading with suppliers who destroy the rainforest, endanger wildlife, exploit children and use illegal pesticides (more details in the report linked below).
Over the years many promises have been made about using sustainable palm oil but these have failed to translate into less rainforest destruction or orangutan deaths. Kellogg's can lead the way (like Iceland) and halt the current devastation to win back consumers who don’t want their breakfast to cost the earth.
Please keep sharing so we can build momentum to ensure the 70,000 tonnes of palm oil that Kellogg's use annually is rainforest and orangutan-friendly.
