Aggiornamento sulla petizioneKellogg's: Do NOT add peanut flour to your products frequently consumed by children

Update on Kellogg's Petition

Thanks for supporting the petition urging the Kellogg Company to abandon their plan to add peanut flour to their existing cracker brands that many considered “safe”. Given Kellogg’s announcement, there is little doubt that there will be anaphylactic episodes, most likely in children whose caretakers have no idea of the pending reformulation. Is it Kellogg’s plan to add peanuts to their cracker line and stop there? Or are they gauging consumer response before moving on to to other products? We simply don’t know. What we do know is that the more we push back as a community, the more incentive Kellogg’s has to reconsider. As of this writing, our petition has garnered over 12,000 signatures. Please continue to share it with friends, family, colleagues, teachers, nurses, pediatricians, allergists... anyone who might be interested in joining us. The next step will be the issuance of a press release describing our collective efforts and calling on John A Bryant, Chairman and CEO of Kellogg, to act on behalf of his company. Thanks again for making this issue yours. Though I can’t guarantee the result we hope to achieve, I can guarantee that together we will be heard! Sincerely, Dave Bloom CEO, SnackSafely.com Proud Father of a Child with Food Allergies
