Hi Everyone –
Dr. Celik and I had a long and lengthy conversation after class about the petition. After talking for more than an hour, he explained to me that he will be teaching at SDSU for one last semester, Fall 2022. After that, his plans are to move to a smaller city where he can pursue his research in Political Sciences more deeply and ride his motorcycle.
He wants to thank everyone who signed, shared, and donated to this cause from the bottom of his heart. He was very happy to see so many people from former students to regular citizens getting involved.
As much as he means to all of us, we respect his decision to continue his endeavors.
