Supporters of Better Wireless in Gainesville,

The Board of Supervisors will vote on the Tree Pole adjacent to VDOT on the night of July 13. Improved wireless connectivity in your community will not happen without your support.  The Board needs to hear from you!

Here is what you can do on July 13:

1.      Block out that evening, attend the public hearing, and speak.   Vocal opponents spoke at the planning commission public hearing and we expect them to return.   Let’s not allow the vocal minority to drown out progress. The hearing will take place at the McCoart Administration Building, 1 County Complex Court, 22192.

2.      Alternatively, join the BOS meeting remotely.  You will need to register to speak ahead of time at https://pwcgov.granicusideas.com/  The link will be active a day or two before the hearing.

3.   If you are not available that evening, another option is to leave an online comment on the meeting agenda.  We will disseminate this link when the agenda is published.

Here is what you can do Now:

1.      Share this information with family, friends, and neighbors.   The more supporters who participate the better the chance for approval.

2.      Send a note to the Board of Supervisors at communications@pwcgov.org

3.     Circulate the petition link: www.change.org/gainesvillewest There are over 150 signatures in favor.  Let’s push that above 200!
