Hi Everyone! I hope everyone had a great holiday and is getting back into the groove of things. I want to thank everyone who took the time to sign this little petition about the Westmount School Boundary change proposal. We are 15 days away from the big meeting at Dr. Morris Gibson, to voice our concerns and to make some noise! I need your help to get the word out about this petition. We need more signatures , 200+ would be great!! And we are almost there, just need a little more. So I'm asking if you can share this on your social media, Facebook, Twitter, emails or texting. Talk to your neighbours, friends, and other parents who live in Westmount and Cimarron. 

I have sent an email to Monica Kohlhammer, Director of Planning Foothills School Division and she is every interested what you have to say so give her a shout!

I have heard that some parents don't want to sign or be bothered because this boundary change doesn't effect them. I would like to encourage them to sign. This is about the Wolfpack. We are a team and a community. Splitting up half the community will effect your children in some way. 

I have heard about complaints about getting other emails from change.org. I'm not sure how to change that but if you can put up with it for a few months more, I will try not to email you all to death.

There are 2 meetings that are coming up that I would love parents to show up and voice their concern.

First, Westmount School Council meeting, Jan 23, 6:30pm. Child care will be provided. Westmount Learning Commons(Library) at Westmount School, 240 Westland Street, Okotoks, Alberta.

Second, Okotoks Boundary Review, Jan 24, 6:45pm, at Dr. Morris Gibson, 147 Crystalridge Drive, Okotoks, Alberta.
