Dear Friends, Thank you so much for staying with us through this protracted conflict. After succeeding in getting our hoop house item on the agenda last spring, the Chairman of the committee in charge of the topic chose to "expire" our topic forcibly without notification - which removes it from being discussed, period, like it never happened. We have re-petitioned the Council to take up our topic again, and technically, they have voted to take it up for discussion, but when we attended the committee meeting we were told that the item was not on the agenda, and it was not going to be placed on the agenda, period. We recently found out about a couple in Quebec that won their garden dispute with their municipal government through a petition/email campaign ALONE. Every time someone signs our Change.org petition, all the appropriate parties get notified via email. When the Quebec couple got 20,000+ people to send emails to their municipal government, THEY WON!!! Will you help us get to 20,000 signatures? We need to do it in short time period so each official is receiving literally HUNDREDS of emails every day. Please circulate our petition through your social media accounts. We just want to grow clean food on our own property!
