By now we can clearly see that Hershey Entertainment and Resorts struggles with math and morality. It's safe to say we can add history to that list too. Why anyone with a working knowledge of our current and past issues with Russia would allow a Russia supporting talking head is beyond us. Tucker Carlson is well known for his Pro-Russia/Pro-Putin stance, and while we hold the utmost sympathy and compassion for the victims of this war loving oligarch, we hold absolutely none for Putin or his supporters. Russia's latest war focused on violating the Ukraine, has claimed 50,000 confirmed dead Russian soldiers (that number is suspected to be much higher). Putin's offense has cost 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers their lives and that number doesn't include the people lost when homes, hospitals, and other civilian areas were ruthlessly bombed and attacked. Which to spell it out, attacking civilian areas is a war crime making Putin a war criminal. In a day and age where we can watch uncensored videos of the war with people losing their lives, or people taking their own lives from our smart phones, televisions, and computers, how does one become so disconnected to the humanity lost in some of the cruelest of fashions? Perhaps Herco can enlighten us as to why they don't care.

Maybe Herco needs an opportunity to be educated, to be fair 81,000 people (which is the VERY bottom number of the death count) is hard to wrap one's head around. To translate this number into Hershey numbers, there are about 63 Hershey Kisses in a 10 oz. bag, let 1 candy represent 1 person, so there would need to be 1,285 bags of Hershey Kisses to represent the lowest death toll we can reasonably go by. To put it into perspective once again, that's basically an entire grocery aisle of Hershey Kisses. While that's a lot of sugar, that doesn't sound to sweet to us.
So once again we are asking why Herco wants to bring this beyond bitter flavor of performance into our community? Why they don't care what issues this will bring along with it?
