We are renewing our efforts to restore cost-of-living adjustments for retired public employees and we call on our fellow legislators to join us and make this right.It's time to make this right.”
Let’s keep the pressure on, as election time is coming up. We want action, not words! Bill S260 still sits idle in the Senate. There can be some changes made to make it a more fiscally responsible bill. Additionally, OLS has over estimated this bill by using 5.83% COLA for 30 years. We know this was not a realistic actuarial. It was a bill killer! The average COLA over a 20 year span was 1.2%, as we only get 60% of the CPI.
