Port Elizabeth has been named Port Elizabeth for years. Please do NOT change the name!

It’s our duty to so NO to this change. Changes like these are done with tax payers money and funds intended to help the destitute and fix our roads and maintain infrastructure.

Changing names does not correct the past. Peoples action does that. By allowing this chance people are not going to change negative behaviour.  We are not our past we determine the future. Let’s write a better future for the next generation. 
You can not put a plaster on a open fracture- you need to fix it with surgery. Be that change let it start with you. (Be the surgeons of change) 

There is so much more the government can do with money rather than changing names of cities and streets
