Thanks everybody who signed the petition - over 2000 of you (and some paid to promote it too!). I'm afraid your support did not sway Lidl which is closing the Kentish Town Road store tomorrow February 11th. We sent the petition to Lidl and spoke to senior managers, but they were immovable. The petition was not in vain though - we have used it to show Aldi that there is strong support for a low cost supermarket in Kentish Town. They are much more positive about a having a Kentish Town Road location than Lidl. I will update you all if I hear any definite news.
