Devestating fires, more then 150,000 acres lost and still burning

The Clarence catchment communities and our beautiful bushland have suffered through massive fires, disposing and displacing many. The drought means everything's fuel and no one has water to spare. A mammoth and never-ending effort by every Australians mate on a bad day, our firies, local and interstate  ordinary people doing what they can. Thoughts with the Tenterfeild firey suffering serious burns, wishing him a strong recovery. Their effort means many lives and structures have been saved but the fires have blackened our areas usually green horizons and sky. Disconnected from the shock and those effected, old growth logging of remaining forest began again with roads opening and  pushy politics disregarding the importance of protecting our crying Clarence and its communities  continues. Some hope came  in the form of a few raindrops overnight and is about the most people can hope for,now, here and all the other areas suffering  from no water and many woes at present. Things are going to be tough for a while.
