The Issue

****WE ARE NOT COLLECTING MONEY***
Currently Terry Fox Circle at Couchiching Beach Park is enjoyed by ALL!  If the Council and Administrators for the City of Orillia have their way, they will change it so that Motorized Vehicles cannot use it.  Five Council members say it is a safety issue, yet no one has been injured in the Park by a vehicle.

In closing the Park to Motorized vehicles much will be lost to Orillia's citizens, like; lost parking spaces, less access for citizens with mobility issues, pickup and drop off area for children will be displaced....

We need your HELP!  Please sign this petition to help make our elected officials pay attention to what we citizens actually need and not what they think we want.

Peter HislopPetition StarterI'm a local boy who grew up in Orillia and chose to move back here with my wife to start a family and our careers. This City is a jewel in Ontario's crown with too many good things in Orillia to mention, including Our Park and Terry Fox Circle!
