Thank you for all the support!  As of August 2, 2021 we currently have 3263 signatures.  This definitely shows the area is high value for recreation!

I've collected the current signatures and have delivered the petition to Katrine Conroy today.  I'm asking her to immediately stop any work on the road, and for her to deliver the petition to the Legislative Assembly when they are back in session.  I have made sure to CC both the Forestry Critic, John Rustad, and the closest opposition MLA, Doug Clovechok of Columbia River-Revelstoke.  My hope is if Katrine ignores this petition, the opposition will most likely jump at the chance to criticize the actions of the NDP.
