Thank you so much for signing the petition objecting to the closure of the pool at Rye Leisure Centre. Your response has been amazing - over 1500 signatures!
I did an interview this morning with BBC South East Today, airing this evening, explaining why I posted the petition and offered some initial thoughts about what Freedom Leisure might consider doing. Not least, pushing back the closure date in order that we can all understand their position and more importantly what we, as a community, could do to help solve the problem.
We clearly don't want to lose our pool!
I asked the reporter, James, to pass on my contact details to Ivan Horsfall -Turner, who I think is CEO at Freedom Leisure.
