Most parks still:
-Do not follow mandated timings, open late and shut early, creating confusion and denying access when we need it the most.
-Set their own random rules (no walking on grass, random closures when it rains, etc. ONE CITY, ONE PARK. No arbitrary rules in certain parks.
- Have a maintenance issue. We need drinking water; basic, clean toilets, access for disabled people, cycle tracks wherever possible (at least 2 parks/ward).
Let’s reclaim Mumbai’s green spaces—a promise already made by the BMC, yet to be honoured. This is about the right to breathe, play, and rest in our city—don’t let it be taken away.
