Hi all, I wanted to let you know that we now have 237 signatures on this petition. Thank you so much for your support! I'm encouraged to see so many names I know from town so I think our numbers really represent our local parents and students who are directly impacted by this decision. 

Since we found out about this situation very last minute I am unable to access the signature list for 24 hours. This will keep me from supplying it prior to the school committee meeting tonight. As soon as I am able to I will forward it to the interim superintendent's office and to the School Committee. I have reached out to the School Committee and they know it exists and will be on its way as soon as possible. 

Lastly, there are two other teachers I am aware of that are affected by forced transfers who do not believe the moves are in the best interest of the student body. Mrs. Cooper at Baird and Mr. Henry at Ludlow High. While I do not have direct experience with these teachers many have spoken highly of them and wish for them to remain in their respective positions. Community support for these teachers is also encouraged. Please remember them when you email those in charge and if you attend the meeting tonight.
