Iris Roley: A Champion for Police Reform and Public Safety

For decades, Iris Roley has been a tireless advocate for justice, accountability, and safer communities in Cincinnati. She played a pivotal role in shaping the historic Collaborative Agreement, a groundbreaking police reform effort that has been recognized nationwide for reducing tension, building trust, and improving public safety.

As a community leader and consultant, Iris has worked side-by-side with residents, law enforcement, and city leaders to ensure that every voice is heard and every policy reflects fairness and accountability. She has trained officers, guided community forums, monitored reform progress, and helped keep public safety efforts transparent and effective. In recognition of her lifelong dedication to justice, Iris was inducted into the Ohio Civil Rights Hall of Fame in October 2022.
