Yesterday, I spoke at the Dysart School District board meeting. Since February, I've emailed the Dysart Governing Board and Surprise City Council numerous times asking them to advocate for the safety of the students who will have to share a road with an ICE detention center.

I posted all the emails I've sent to the school board and city council on Facebook so everyone can see how many times I've been dismissed by them. Click here to read the emails. Every single one of these "leaders" sat there watching me spend the last few months of my senior year doing their job because they refuse to do it. They want the job titles without actually performing the duties.

Here are two ways you can help:
1) Email super@dysart.org and demand that they remove Mayor Sartor as Safety Coordinator of Dysart School District.

2) Contact the Arizona State Board of Education at https://azsbe.az.gov/about/contact-us and demand Mayor Sartor be removed as Safety Coordinator of Dysart School District.
