Hey everyone!
Tomorrow morning, I will be a guest on 1A, the NPR radio show/podcast produced by WAMU, to talk about my 3-mile buffer zone petition, my experience trying to get support for it from elected leaders, and how the ICE detention center being this close to our school will affect students and our safety.
I was recommended to be a local voice for the segment by The Washington Post reporter, Doug MacMillan, who is also going to be on the show. He's been covering DHS and the ICE detention centers around the country. I'm honestly so honored to be invited on.
I'll be on tomorrow between 7:40-7:50 AM AZ time.
