I’ve just seen a report that less than 1% of Cornwall Councils population took part in their budget consultation. 

By contrast, the petition regarding the Fairground car park (Helston ) already represents an approximate 12% of the Helston, Porthleven & the Lizard Peninsula population
(an estimated 21,000 to 24,000 )

That’s far higher engagement!

This’s why I believe this petition is not just important. 
It’s imperative.
