As a Door County Town/county Supervisor I unequivocally prioritize the preservation of our dark sky and am committed to safeguarding it.

I wholeheartedly support exploring avenues to protect this precious resource. However, before advocating any actions, I must consult with my county administrator and corporate council to ascertain the feasibility of enacting an ordinance.

In the Town of Egg Harbor, we have already implemented safeguards for businesses that require their lights to be set face downward and automatically turn off. Therefore, I would ensure that we are not already adhering to these measures before advocating for the formalization of an ordinance.
