It is apparent that “Dixie” is no longer welcome as Patrick Henry’s main Band song. I never imagined this would happen around here in my entire life. Help get this song back into the band room before this tradition is taken away for good! I know the band students work HARD to learn these songs and I know for a fact that most, if not all of, the students and other onlookers enjoyed hearing “Dixie” at the football games! Don’t let this tradition die, don’t let your freedom of voice and expression be taken away because of a few complaints!
