Raise Your Voice! CVS Protest & Press Conference on July 2 @11:30

Dear Neighbor, 

I can't thank you enough for signing this petition to keep our neighborhood CVS (store #1335) open. Our community is disappointed by the decision of CVS to close their most accessible Ward 7 location.

Their reasons for closing remain elusive. Since this petition was launched and featured on local news, CVS has cited everything from "theft", "population shifts" and "density" as their reasons for abandoning us. It almost like they haven't been here in the community for over ten years...

Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 2, at 11:30am, a group of Ward 7 leaders will host a rally and press conference in protest of this closing. Please join us . Come out and share your concerns.

As the shelves continue to empty at CVS, we are proactively compiling a list of local and minority-owned pharmacies to share with you. We will also host events to help our community transfer their prescriptions and avoid any lapse in service.
