Greetings Neighbors
Our community is at a critical juncture, and your voice is urgently needed. On Thursday, March 28th, at 6:00 PM, we're gathering at Roots Charter School for a pivotal neighborhood meeting with Councilmember Janeese Lewis George & associated leadership.
Why is this meeting crucial? Because the decisions made here will directly impact our collective future. Without your input and participation, we risk facing significant challenges: loss of services, the spread of food deserts, and rubberstamping of a bad plan the community openly rejects!
Several of us attended the ANC 4B meeting yesterday and were told this was not the appropriate venue for this discussion. Others told me they didn't feel comfortable speaking out after the welcome our comments received.
Your presence at this meeting is not just encouraged; it's essential. Your voice matters, and this is your opportunity to make it heard.
We are planning to have a little neighborhood pizza party at 5:30pm before the meeting.
If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to be heard, you can deliver statements to:
manorparkgroup@gmail.com
Please include your cross streets, as the ANC has informed me that she is working to remove any letters from concerned citizens whom are outside of the neighborhood.
