We would like to say a special thanks to Mayor John Tory, MPP Andrea Horwath, The NDP Black Caucus, MPP Suze Morrison, MPP Faisal Hasan, MPP Laura Mae-Lindo, MPP Kevin Yarde, MPP Mike Gibbons, for sending letters of support. They strongly believe that the 98.7 frequency continues with the original mandate to serve the Black Community. They believe that it is important that the frequency stays Black-owned and Operated. Many other leaders have expressed interest in supporting this initiative and we look forward to receiving their letters of support as well. Prime Minister Trudeau has Prorogue Parliament which will interfere with this matter getting on the floor of Parliament before the Receivers deadline but we feel confident that we will hear from the Heritage Minister and other officials on the matter. To have anyone else own our voice is cultural appropriation and contributes to system racism and I am happy that many have agreed. I will post other letters of support in the days to come.
