Petition updateKeep Canada’s Lakes Alive — Ban Human Ash DumpingCanada’s Water Is Being Silently Polluted — Before Our Eyes

Every glass of water you drink today came from the 2% of Earth's water that keeps us alive.

Canada holds 20% of that precious 2%. It flows from your tap. It fills the lakes where your children swim. It is everything.

And we're poisoning it.

Cremation ashes — loaded with salts, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals  — are being scattered into our waters right now. No permits. No limits. No one watching.

Why? Because cremation costs $2,000–$5,000 while burial costs over $10,000. So more people choose it. And more ashes go into our rivers, our lakes, our drinking water.

In parts of the world, including India, rivers once full of life have turned biologically dead from years of neglect and pollution — what began as small, unregulated acts grew into irreversible destruction.

Will Canada’s be next?

This isn't happening to someone else, somewhere else. This is your water. The water your family drinks. The lakes where you vacation. The rivers that feed the crops you eat.

When that water is gone, no amount of money will bring it back.

If you drink water, this affects you.

If it affects you, SIGN.
