Would you be able to give some time to help survey the retailers in South, West and East Street, either on Saturday afternoon or Monday morning? We've designed a very short survey which we want to take to shopkeepers in town and you'll be given help and a short briefing on how to do the survey.* We feel this is one of the many weaknesses of the Town Council’s application. They say they’ve been under enormous pressure from the Chamber of Trade and the Tourism Association for more parking. We have the list of Tourism Association members, and only 10 retail in Bridport. 31 are not in the town. We can only find 17 of the 60 Chamber of Trade’s members, and only 3 of these are retailers in town – one of whom has signed our petition! (If you have or can get a complete list of Chamber of Trade members that would be helpful…) We’re interested to find out what the retailers really think. Can you help us find out?
