As I write, this online petition has received more than 250 signatures. But we've also been out in Bridport today with paper copies of the form and garnered 200 more. So we've achieved 450 in a little over 30 hours. Thanks for being one of those and for helping the numbers to multiply. In the town it hasn't been difficult to get people to sign. So many people are shocked that this is even being considered. Here online I'm reminded of that line from 'Don't look back in anger'....'Gonna start a revolution from my bed.' It's been rewarding seeing the numbers ticking up so fast Down to your networking. Please keep going - maybe 1000 signatures would knock this on the head in one go! Tomorrow we'll be putting together a news release. Two things we'd like to ask. Firstly, are you a shopkeeper or stallholder in Bridport who is a supporter of this campaign?
