Hello everyone! 
There has been an archaeological study of the Indian mound and also testing different parts of the land at Anclote as well. We are still waiting on the results of this study.   If you happen to visit, you will see that there is a crane dredging in the water. I was concerned about this, but it’s been known to be a routine from time to time. Recently, there was also a bulldozer near the entrance of the park. I thought it was the beginning of the restaurant being built, but I called the county and it was used  to remove an old utility shed. Also, I’ve noticed big pipes in between the boat ramp and power plant. I called Florida Power, and they believe it’s on their property and not the park. I try to visit Anclote as much as possible to see if anything has changed.  I want to take the next step and plan a protest! It’s not too late to do our part! The restaurant is still on hold. It will be on Saturday, May 6th at 11:00am. I will bring extra supplies if you’d like to make a sign at the park. I will be posting the date of protest on many group sites.  Please spread the word to as many people you can as well so we can keep our beautiful park safe. Thank you! �
