Hey Everyone!

We are happy to report that our petition for a public hearing was successful! The KDHE is granting a public hearing to discuss any concerns the public may have with the proposed CAFO.

We are working on creating a public page to keep the community updated. We are grateful for each and every signature, and we encourage everyone to continue to educate themselves about CAFOs and how they may affect our community.

The KDHE office said they have received quite a few emails. This is very helpful! Please continue to write in with your concerns, and consider emailing our local and state governments as well.

We believe it will be 6-8 weeks before the public hearing takes place. Please take that time to do your own research and encourage others to do the same. We will send out another update when we know more.
