WHO ARE THE GADSDEN 6 ??
Thirty-one years ago on March 24, 1988, Six Black juveniles, Fred Brown, Archie Hamlet, Roland Martin, Curtis Richardson and Steve Stewart, all 16 years of age or younger, were arrested in the early morning hours around 1:00 am and held in a GADSDEN, Ala, jail on various property-related burglary and theft charges for breaking into a retail store.
Later that morning on March 24, all six of these juvenile delinquent children were taken to a detention hearing without attorneys. At these detention hearings, and without assistants from counsel, the juvenile court judge, Robert E. Lewis, issued an order stating, "At detention hearing probable cause stipulated to and child ordered detained. . ."

Claimant is filing this Order of Petition to the Alabama Legislature in order to rectify the injustice put upon the Gadsden 6 (NAMES) by the Gadsden Police Department, the Juvenile & Adult Courts out of (GADSDEN COUNTY) and the failure in Due Process Requirements for the protection and Rights of Juvenile Offenders.
