Aloha Everyone!

I wanted to give you all an update that there will be a Housing Agency teams meeting on Wednesday, October 12th at 2pm.  The purpose of this meeting is for the county to go over the housing plan for 2023 and upcoming grant opportunities.  I would encourage all those who are able to participate.  By showing up to these meetings, we can speak up about our experiences and see what our County Agencies are doing regarding Kauai's housing crisis.  The more people that show up for these meetings, the more our County officials will realize that this is a problem that needs to be dealt with IMMEDIATELY.  If you would like to be emailed the registration so you can attend, please email me and I will forward you the link as soon as it becomes available.  As of right now registration has not opened for this meeting but I have been in communication with the County Housing Agency and they will be forwarding me the registration info when it's available.  The more people that can show up to these meetings with  questions, concerns and the willingness to hold our County officials accountable, the more likely change will happen for the good of OUR COMMUNITY rather than just for the politicians running it.  

Please take the time out of your day to attend this meeting if you want your voice to be heard! This is a small step that we can all take in order to unite for the common good of our community and begin to make a difference.  I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully seeing you at the upcoming meeting!
