Thanks to each and every one of you for supporting this petition. It's been a while since I initially made it, but Puberty Blues was recently added on Netflix Australia and it's currently trending in the Top 10, so I thought I'd make an update!
I recently rewatched Puberty Blues, and it was so beautiful to be back in Cronulla watching the stories unfold in a much simpler time. The acting, the soundtrack, the cinematography, the screenplay, the set design... it's nothing short of a masterpiece.
Ironically, I did feel different about the ending this time around... I think regardless of if we ever see a third season or not, the openness in the ending is what makes the show even more profound. It leaves it up to us to interpret, and its the not knowing that makes it feel complete. That being said, I would still absolutely love to see where things ended up.
Anyway, I hope everyone continues to enjoy Puberty Blues for many years to come. Maybe the new life it's getting on Netflix will lead to another season. If not, we will always have a beautiful masterpiece to keep coming back to... and I think that's all we'll ever need.
