Petition to Canadian Government: Palestinian Heritage Day

PETITION TO THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA

It reads

Whereas:

We recognize the significant contributions that Palestinian Canadians have made to the Canadian society, the richness of the Palestinian culture, and the importance of education; and

We reflect on the contributions of the Palestinian culture for future generations.

We, the undersigned, residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to name November 29, every year, Palestinian Heritage Day.

This is excellent way to counter the work to shut down the voice of Palestinians in federal, provincial and territorial, and municipal governments.
